Suggestion: Save/Load directory synchronise sets

Post by *ruscook »

I have a suggestion for a new release. I'd like to see feature where I can save/load (including from command line for auto sheduling purposes), synchronise dir sets.

Any chance this could be in a version 7 update ;-)

Many savings---

:)  Hello Russel!
- Welcome on board !
• Several kinds of missing savings like this have been already requested... I mean : in a real file - rather another than <wincmd.ini> - ...
• Maybe the Author is thinking to that (we hope) ?
- A "7.x" version is really far, let's be more optimistic  :P

Sync should support "predefined selection type" (like search and expand selection today).
Yepp, already requested and request supported by me. :)

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Yup, got me too! I'm using TC now just shortly for syncing my notebook documents with my desktop PC. To make sure I don't miss anything, I synchronize my whole D-partition. However, that includes also the \RECYCLERS\ folders (among others). A checkbox in front of such directories to exclude them from synchronizing would be great! Or even an option to exclude directories or files that have the 'hidden'-attribute would already make a big difference.
