[Feature request]: CRC check

Hi,

CRC check from MD5 or SHA1 files should be useful.
cwm backup checking can also be useful.

On my old samsung/KPU based rom, I had some problem with my sdcard, some cwm backups was corrupted. (Then I made backup twice).
I was unable to check the resulted CRC backup (without restoring backups).

Now, my cwm generate .tar.a files with a .md5 file.

But for larger files, I usually get "function aborted" error. Probably there is a timeout for shell commands?
