Run Dos directory

Post by *dickinsonr »

Hello,

On one machine when I do a "run dos" I always go to C:\

On the other machine I go to the directory highlighted in total commander. I would like to make the 1st machine act like this as well(go to the highlighted directory). How do I do it?

Both are xp home sp1.

Thank you, take care, Randy

Have you added any additional strings to AUTOEXEC.NT? Does it work the same (or should I say doesn't work %) when you execute cmd from Commander's command line? I have a strong feeling I faced with such a problem once but I can't remember now what was the key, sorry.[/face]

Well, that can be at least temporary solution (BTW ^E works like last executed command recall).[/face]
