Hi,
1) Why TC sometimes not show associated icons on my text (source) files?
I need to close TC and open it again. Then it works fine.
2) This morning, I've zipped a big file (50 MB). TC has compressed it well, but it has NOT SHOWED THE PROGRESS BAR. It has done it in silent mode
I did not know that it was possible. Does someone know on what this depends?

• I just tested to compress a dir. 93.6MB into a ZIP >> 73.8 MB :
both files and total progress-bars are shown alright, either for the compression or the verification (under Win 98 SE).
I'm in Win2000 sp4
Today I'm try it again (same file), and it works fine.
I do NOT have explanation.
I've never seen TC to suppress totally the window progress bar.
When I send the background it opens a small additional window.
2Jqn Hello Joaquin,
• What about the point #1 (icons ) ?
* In the quoted previous (big!) thread linked, I told some suggestions (using of icon-copies, installing "Cacheman", and / or "TweakUi"... etc.); a question : have you some "Dell™" PC(s) ?
* Glad to hear from you, B R

Problem #2 - this is Windows - strange things might happen. Due to some internal error it is possible that the window has not been shown. This happens rarely, but happens. Please report if it occures more frequently.
Anyway, similiar behaviour (copying is done in background and background window might be hidden behind the main TC window) takes place if you have in wincmd.ini:
[Configuration]
AlwaysCopyInBackground=1
