Request: PPC/WinMob Support

Post by *Krajan »

I'm using several different PocketPC's and Windows Mobile devices.
In Active Sync I can open a file browser for easy filehandeling. That is also available from My Computer in the desktop.
I'd like to have the device available from the (hmmm) dropdown list showing the diffrerent drivers (c: d: ...); there's network [-\-] so...

As now I don't know any way to access my mobile device from TC :?
And yes, I'd like to open My Device in the TC not in a separate window :P

Any other sugestions about this? Anyone??

Try the WinCE plugin from http://www.ghisler.com/plugins.htm#filesys .

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I have found this plug in to be very slow compared to using Explorer? does any one know why? Even copying to USB sticks seems faster through Explorer>??? Any ideas why?

I know the Total commander pluging for PocketPC is using a bindary mode (FTP Style) but I don't see why it should be so much slower compared to windows?

Is there a way to Map the Active Sync drive in Windows.
