New plugin available: NewFiles for Total Commander 2.1

Post by *happytc »

To be a statement: Since TC forum is using Google confirmation code to recognize new user, the author of the 'NewFiles' plugin CANNOT register TC forum to release new plugin. So, what I have to do now is substituting for him to release it.

NewFiles for Total Commander 2.1

==============================================================================

NewFiles is an addon for Total Commander to quickly create new files/folders.

# Create files/folders in batch mode with multi-line input.
# Create relative path or absolute path.
For example: "..\..\mydir\myfile.txt", "d:\mydir\myfile.docx"
# Create multi-level directories in deep path.
For example: "d:\new dir1\new dir2\new dir3\new file.txt"
# Send hot key F4/ESC+F4/CapsLock+F4 to TC after creating the new files, to cooperate with ChoiceEditor/F4Menu.
# Create new files by using wildcard template files.
# Other features like naming utilities for date/number/serial/space.

How to use
----------------------------------------------------------
[System requirements] Windows, .NET Framework 4, Total Commander 6.x or higher

1. Download NewFiles.zip and extract it to "%commander_path%\Tools\NewFiles\".
%commander_path% is a TC enviroment variant, it equals to the path that you install TC into.

2. Edit the TC user commander file(usually "UserCmd.ini"), add the customized commanders like below:
[em_NewDirs]
menu=Create new folders...
cmd=%commander_path%\Tools\NewFiles\NewFiles.exe
param=-onlyDir %P%S
path=%commander_path%\Tools\NewFiles

[em_NewFiles]
menu=Create new files/folders...
cmd=%Commander_path%\Tools\NewFiles\NewFiles.exe
param=%P%S
path=%Commander_path%\Tools\NewFiles

3. Edit the TC configuration file(usually "WinCmd.ini"), bind hot keys like below:
[Shortcuts]
F7=em_NewDirs
F8=em_NewFiles
C+N=em_NewFiles

4. Restart TC, then you can press F7/F8/Ctrl+N to run NewFiles.

Do you know any alternate login checker which could be used by Chinese users, e.g. from Baidu? Since I don't speak Chinese, I would need a short English description on how to integrate it.

Could you check whether you can access the following alternate captcha service from China?
