No, TC doesn't support the Chromecast, and there are currently no plans to support it, although I own and use one myself.
Chromecast is mainly useful to stream media from the Internet. It's not really meant to stream media from your device, although this is possible. But there are various limitations: The number of supported media formats is very limited, and also the protocols supported. While it would be possible to stream from http-based cloud services, it wouldn't from e.g. the LAN or FTP plugins.
