Is it possible with TC (or TC + a Special Plugins) to connect on a samba server like : smb://IP:8888

You can connect to any Samba server just like in any other Windows program using standard UNC syntax: \\server\share. Note that you'd want to add a "cd " in front of the UNC path if you enter it in TC's command line (to make TC open it instead of Explorer).
The syntax smb://server:port looks like some Linux thing, maybe even special to some desktop manager.

Yah, it's a WindowsOs limitation, but we could imagine TC or a TC Plugins to bypass this ?As TC is targeting MS windows OS you have to comply to M$ way..
