Hey all,
I am working with a new backup application that is creating zip compatible files with the .gbm extension.
I would like to be able to view inside these files by hitting enter just as I do with .zip files. Is there a way to associate these files with the internal packer?
Thanks,
James Newman

Hello !
• As far as I know, you can't associate any extension with the internal ZIP packer (which is a DLL, not an executable).
* To open achives having "exotic" extensions, you ought to use the classic Ctrl+PageDown…
Kind regards,

Did you ever try this? I did rename a *.zip to *.gbm and after that the [enter] sent me still inside the zip.jnewman33 wrote:Hey all,

Re: Internal zip viewer and zip compatible files
Same thing happens here when I press Enter over .ip files which are icon packs for a software called IconPackager. IconPackager used to (probably still does) use packs in zip format so probably the same compression algorithm is used for its .ip files.Sheepdog wrote:I did rename a *.zip to *.gbm and after that the [enter] sent me still inside the zip.
