"Separate Lister window" will not show in foregrou
Win 7 64bit, TC 9.0b1 32&64bit
"Ctrl+Shift+Q: Opens Quick View in separate Lister window",
it will blink very fast one time in foreground, and then hide in the background.
Even it will "updates contents when going to other file", but just in background, not in the foreground.
Expected the "Quick View in separate Lister window" should be always-on-top, until user disable or cancel it.

Return focus to Total Commander window is correct, but the "separate Lister window" should be still show on the top, therefore user can going to other file and see the "Quick" View.Hacker wrote:BTW:Roman09.02.16 Fixed: Ctrl+Shift+Q: Return focus to Total Commander if separate Lister window steals it, e.g. when loading a plugin (32/64)
Otherwise, user will need to toggle between the current TC window and Lister viewer window, or adjust TC window size to smaller, it will not convenient.
The "always-on-top" example: IrfanView => option => Always on Top.

The idea is to use this on wide screen monitors or dual screen configurations side by side with Total Commander. TC will claim back the focus so you can still go through the files.

I can understand TC will claim back the focus so user can still go through the files.ghisler(Author) wrote:The idea is to use this on wide screen monitors or dual screen configurations side by side with Total Commander. TC will claim back the focus so you can still go through the files.
But if we can enable(and disable) the "separate Lister window" Always on Top, no need the focus. Just let user can see the quick view, no need to toggle window. It should be more useful on this function.
I think there are different things to consider.
Focus. The focus is reclaimed by TC. It would be better if it never loses it (it currently looks quite strange). Is there a way to create the Lister window but prevent it from claiming the focus?
The window order. It might actually be a good idea to open it always on top but it should at least be above other app windows when TC is the active app. When changing between apps the Lister window gets lost somewhere in the window order.

For normal usage it looks strange to need an additional hotkey for quick view.ghisler(Author) wrote:The idea is to use this on wide screen monitors or dual screen configurations side by side with Total Commander. TC will claim back the focus so you can still go through the files.
For me its a bug if I start some module and it doesnt show at all.
