When synchronizing: "Not supported -> Shift-F8"

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

When synchronizing: "Not supported -> Shift-F8"

Post by *msiivola »

I am not sure if this is a bug or some obvious oversight in my thinking.

In TC ver 9.0 betas, now beta 5, I get often during "Synchronize dirs" an error with "Move to recycle bin" header and "Not supported -> Shift-F8" error message, TC being unable to delete files in target dir. When I go and delete them "manually" with TC, without the help of synchronizing function, then the files can be deleted normally.

This error pops up with many kinds of computer connections. I have not found the logical explanation in TC forums for this. -- I have never before experienced this error during my decade-long massive TC use.

This error string is not part of beta 5. Please check whether you have an older beta, because the current one shows a different error and allows to continue the operation.
