[TC 9b9x64]View Mode Switch fail when tab trange

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

I can't find any site to upload the gif pic

1. made a folder A for rule 1, run cmd cm_100Percent
2. made (*\) a default rule 2 run cm_50Percent
3. made a tab T1 with A's parent path C
4. made a tab T2 with any path B
5. now swich tab, view mode is T1:C2 T2:B2,
6. in T1, click and enter folder A, T1 view mode would be T1:A1, the T2 still should be T2:B2
7. Don't change any path, click and switch to T2, T2 viewmode change to T2:B1!! the A's rule replace it
8. in tab T2, click to any other path the view mode can't back to view mode 2
9. calick and swich back to T1 and switch to C, the view mode 2 could be back

View mode commands are only executed when entering a view mode for the first time on a tab, either by choosing the view mode manually, or due to a view mode rule. When you switch to a different tab and back, the view mode is not applied, just the previous look of the tab is restored.

thx for told me the rule

the view mode changed by command is not include in view mode status?

example, I made a cmd cm_SrcThumbs in a rule, it change to the thumb view, I back to parent it can back default mode. but cm_100Percent can't

it mean the cm_100Percent is not a view mode status, isn't it?

the cm_100Percent command let the window view tranged, I think it may be include the view mode Property

Yes, because TC remembers the display method.

However, if you put a * in front of cm_100Percent, it should be executed on every directory change.

I have done this idea but not front of cm_100Percent, a * be in the last rule, what I set every detail item
