Dear Christian, please make a rule for auto-switching view mode depend on the tab state: locked, locked but directory changes allowed. This can set to identify a locked tabs
Yes. Internal variables for headers states can help solve many problems with icons and colorizing. And I think, colors must be as in all another places: not gradient, but bg & fg. Auto-swithing rules - the best plase for this in config.
Hm I'm not sure if it could work this way. In which cases would add such a condition to the rule and in which not? Can you give an example? What problem would be solved by this new rule?
I can't also see any practical usage of this rule. Auto-switching rules are for events that occur frequently, like path change, but tab locking usually is a rare event...
Or is there any sense in distinguishing folder A in an unlocked tab and folder A in a locked one?

Colors on locked, active and other tabs, and icons - all in one place in config.
