[9.0rc2x86] Lister shows blank page in UTF8 mode in Win98

You can test it with e.g. ru.txt language file from 7-Zip distribution. View file by F3, TC switches to UTF8 mode and shows blank page, but if I switch to ANSI/ASCII, I see characters.

Not confirmed here with the files I tried. Maybe your font is just lacking the Cyrillic characters?

I see Russian characters in ANSI mode, is it enough?

What else it may be? It looks for me as if some conversion tables are missing in that OS. Win98 SE 4.10.2222.

Hmm, no idea - I tried with font "Tahoma" for Variable width view. They do not show up here in Ansi (fixed width) view because the font is Western script only.
