[9.0a RC1 x64] Wrong Deselection in Synch Directories

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[9.0a RC1 x64] Wrong Deselection in Synch Directories

Post by *brahman »

If I use Synchronize Directories (not in stand alone mode) asymettrically and with ignore date to synch a local folder having subfolders with an Android device via ADB plugin, I cannot deselect an entire folder, which does not exist on source and where all the files are supposed to be deleted on target, by clicking on the synch icon to the left of the folder name.

This bug occurs only for deletion (red cross), it works as expected for the green arrow.

This is not a bug!

When you uncheck a folder from copying, it unchecks all the files inside because they cannot be copied alone without the folder.

If you uncheck a folder from deleting, you may want to keep the folder but not the files.
