In the "Synchronize directories" dialog, it is possible to place the input focus on a (grey) directory line.
When the directory item is having the input focus, it is still possible to do CTRL+F3 to open the "Compare contents" dialog (which then presents an error message about "Left file not found"). I think, CTRL+F3 should be disabled if the input focus is on a directory item.

It may still be useful to open the compare dialog this way to pick a file with the >> button...

Note that the context menu item for "Compare left & right CTRL+F3" is grayed out when right-clicking on a directory item. Why disabling the context menu entry, yet allowing the keyboard shortcut...?ghisler(Author) wrote:It may still be useful to open the compare dialog this way to pick a file with the >> button...

Also the error message is a bit in the way, or?
