Copy files to multiple folders
Hello,
I use the latest version of Total Commander, version 9.10ß1
I want to copy some files to multiple folders on different servers.
Is this possible, of do I have to copy to one server at the time?

Copy files to different targets at once
TC works with two directories at the same time only.
But you can open all "servers" on one panel in own tab each
and copy selected files from the other panel by dropping on that tabs.
Left Panel ||| Right Panel
[Source] ||| [Srv1] [Server2] [Serv 3] [Srv4]
------------------------------------------------
file1.ext |||
file2.ext |||
file3.ext |||
- - -
Also you can use a script to copy the selected files to default targets.
TC can provide you a list with the selected files, and in the script you can say:
-- for each file
--- ---- > copy to Srv1
--- ---- > copy to Server2
--- ---- > copy to "Serv 3"
-next
Such script you can launch from an button or an hotkey (via usercmd.ini).
Other ideas, forum mates?

and the shortcuts to the targets in the target panel.
Then click Options - copy to all selected folders.

No need, this feature is already there !DaPaleRider wrote:Thanks for the information on your post. I will look into scripting.
Besides that I will post a feature request for copying to multiple locations.
If you select multiple folders or links in the target panel the copy shows the option to copy into all selected folders / links in the target panel

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the information, but I have some ideas.
I read about creating shortcuts of folders, selecting them and select the option to copy to all selected folders (shortcuts).
I would like to have a + button near the 'copy to' field where you can add target folders and create a list. Also this list can be saved and loaded. Oh...and the use of the Tree search option to select folders.
