Press "Compare" button and you will see warning message.
Press "OK".
For a split second, the list is filled with values, and then cleared.
I think that this should not be.

I cannot reproduce that, sorry. What does the list show? Is that from a previous comparison?

If you choose "OK" in the warning message you basically tell TC "Shut up, I know what I'm doing". So of course it reads all the directories and compares them. But because they're identical (it's the same directory after all) you see the file list filled for a split second. How long the list is displayed depends on the files compared and settings used for comparison (by contents takes longer of course).

Ah, yes, this can happen when you compare by content - TC shows all the files with [?] while they aren't compared by content, then with = because they are equal. When the comparison ends and the button to show equal items isn't down, all equal files will be hidden.
