OneDrive directory shown as <LNK> instead <DIR>

Post by *Ghandi »

After installing the Fall Creators Update the OneDrive directory is always shown as <LNK> instead of <DIR> and thus you cannot double-click to open a file (workaround: right-click - open with - program , i.e. Adobe Reader - the file opens correctly).

How to change OneDrive from >LNK> back to <DIR> ... ?!?

No real problem here.
The dirs are displayed as LNK but there is no problem
to open them with Explorer or in my case TC with a double click.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3374)
TC 11.03 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1371a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.2, Listary Pro 6.3.0.69
QAP 11.6.3.2 x64

What Issue do you mean ?
The display of dirs as LNK is still there with TC 9.10RC3

This isn't a bug - these ARE actually file system links, they aren't folders any more.

But it is impossible to open any file in any subDir (which also appears as LNK)...To open, we have to use other File Program....or not using doble click, just Open with...

Then you have some unknown bug
or you don't use the actual final TC 9.10 version .
It runs fine here and there is no problem to double click or open any entry
in the One Drive tree.
