[Feature req] Remember playback position in TC Media Player

Post by *gewone »

I'm mainly using a third party app (Poweramp) for my usual music listening, and TC Media Player when listening to downloaded podcasts and/or audio books. It's pretty neat, that way I don't have to reload music playlist(s) and so on. Anyways, one thing I do miss is the ability to start over on the same place in let's say "Audiobook Chapter.mp3" if TC Media Player has been terminated.

I usually keep it up and in pause at all times (and my phone is always on), but some time I accidentally kill the app, or have to reboot the phone, and then I need to recall Chapter.mp3 and where in that particular chapter I stopped listening.

Yeah, this is a true first world issue, and you may simply tell me that TC Media Player is not intended for this sort of use and that there are plenty of other apps out there specifically developed for e.g. audio books and I agree, but since I use TC so damn much it feels handy to have everything in one place! ;)

Actually it does remember the last position for tracks longer than 10 minutes! Just re-open the last track.
