How to move all files without interruption
Hi,
often happens that if I need to move all files from one folder (and its subfolders) it stops asking if I want to move all files. I confirm with ALL, but after some time it stops again and ask if I want to move event that file ... that is very frustrating especially if I let the comp do big task eg for whole night (TC anouncing eg. 6 hours of working ) but in the morning I realize it stoped in the middle asking for new confirmation.
So, what can I do with that? If I say move ALL files, I really want to move all, not to be asked 10x times again.
Thanx for help.

During file operations, warn if target name is longer than 259 characters:
0=always
1=never
2=if source name isn't longer than 259 characters
3=disallow long namesCode: Select all
LongNameCopy=1

I saw that tdread, but it doesn't solve the problem.
First of all there is nothing like "LongNameCopy" in my wincmd.ini. I have something called "UseLongNames" but nothing about copy, so I'm not sure it is the thing I'm looking for, because it is set to 1 already, but the interrupting of copy is persistent
any other ideas?
Thanx

I have configured buttons for Fast Copy with its NonStop options.
This way it copies regardless of errors but shows them while copying
and at the end.
It also has many options not available with TC native copying.

You should also check the Overwrite options in the copy dialog, maybe set them to overwrite or skip all, and maybe check Overwrite/Delete read only/hidden/system.
BTW: There are quite a log of threads about this topic, and in the end, it is possible to make TC do what you tell it to do without showing confirmations. It just needs a little work, and if you think about it, the confirmations are there for a reason.

@Dalai
yes, you are right that another stopping issues are hidden/system files. And I agree the confirmations are for some reason.
BUT if I tell it to move ALL then I mean ALL. Why should I get hundred question if I mean ALL like really ALL or ALL not all but amost all ... that's simply stupid. Why the confirmation is asking if to move ALL and then doesn't do move ALL files? Why it doesn't ask Do you want to move only the "safe" files? or something like that? ALL is ALL, simple as that.
I believe it is possible to configure it, but hnestly, I didn't even know where to start. The thread mentioned before didn't give me the answer and I just didn't asked the right questions (because didn't know what to search for) Therefore I asked.
