Multi-Rename placeholder [f] has an error.

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Multi-Rename placeholder [f] has an error.

Rename mask file name [F][N] also uppercases the extension:
'i_can_hop.txt' is now 'I_Can_Hop.Txt'

Extension [F][E] seems to work as it should:
'i_can_hop.txt' is now 'i_can_hop.Txt'

Maybe the behaviour is intentional ?

Yes, it is intentional. These placeholders work from the given position until the end of the name, including the extension.

Please use:
[F][N][n] for unchanged extension, or
[F][N][L] for lowercase extension.

Thank your for the elaboration. Works perfectly. :)

It also triggered som experiments, and I found out, that file name [F][N] plus extention [L][E] also did the job. :o

Good stuff for me to put in 'save settings'.
