How to copy path and title of file

Post by *ndn »

Hi Team,

Apologies if obvious. If I have a file selected in a pane, can I copy the path and filename to the clipboard with a single key click or single mouse operation?

Cheers

You can assign a keyboard shortcut to the command cm_CopyFullNamesToClip.

You can also just use the default shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Enter

For other shortcuts see: Help -> Keyboard -> "Other keys: See command line" (at the bottom).

petermad,
You can also just use the default shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Enter
That goes to the command line, not the clipboard.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

See also the entries in the menu Mark - there are a couple of options already in there.

Hi Team,

Thank you for your responses. I have assigned ctrl-alt-F4 to cm_CopyFullNamesToClip and it works a treat.

The suggested Mark, then Copy Names with Path to Clipboard, does the same with two clicks, but will be useful should I forget the above .

Again my thanks.

Cheers
