Drag/drop extract file out of archive: suppress confirmation

Post by *DRP535 »

Is there a way of suppressing the confrmation dialog box that always pops up when drag/drop extracting a file out of an archive?

My typical process is to double click into the archive like a folder, then drag/drop the file I want out to the .. (parent) folder. I know it's going to end up in the same folder as the archive sits. I don't need a dialog every single time telling me that's where it will go and asking me to confirm this is what I want. Is there a setting somewhere I can use to permanently get rid of this behaviour?

No, otherwise you couldn't set parameters like unpacking paths with files...

actually, I never touch this option.
but forced to confirm unpacking each time.
for me, ability to bypass confirmation would be very useful, even in INI-file only.
and it's possible to add another option to set up default behaviour for unpacking paths.
