Hello, someone from my members has the following question I could not answer.
Is it possible, when you have to copy (or delete) a big number of files (more than 10000) to have a list of files that gives problems as authorizations, unreadable, locked... before starting the action.
As far as I known TC interrupt the action with a dialog where you can skip that file or all files with problems.
When there are a great numbers of files to execute 'skip one' always put the program in a wait status (losing a lot of time when you are not present at that moment). When chosing 'Skip all' you have no idea at end which files are skiped.
Does anyone known a solution for this?
Thanks

?
You mean TC would check all 10.000 files beforehand for access and start then the copy process?
?
Have you tried to enable the Log feature:
10.07.2018 15:13:38: Copy: H:\temp\TC\Log test\
10.07.2018 15:13:44: Copy(Skipped): H:\temp\TC\Log test\
10.07.2018 15:13:45: Copy: H:\temp\TC\Log test\

Me think that is possible too, or I get it wrong (I don't use it)
SkippedFileCopy=1
1: First copy all files where the user doesn't need to be asked and skip all with errors, ask at the end
