AlwaysCopyInBackground=2
AlwaysPackInBackground=3
I have a 7z file. I pressed Enter on it and TC shows me its contents. It contains a single folder. Under it are 1403 files in various folders.
When i press F5 and Enter, TC opens a background window. It first calculates the number of files and their size. 1403 files and 196.6 MB. After that, it starts copying the files. Under the progress bar, the number of files and their size is displayed: 1403/1403 files and 196.6/196.6 MB. From start to end of the copy process, the number of files remained 1403/1403 and the size played between "196.5/196.6 MB" and "196.6/196.6 MB".
Once again: a 7z file. That's probably important.

Re: Upacking 7z file - status in background window does not change
This seems to be a problem with the Total7zip plugin. I don't have this problem with the internal 7zip unpacker.

Ah, i see. I'll try disabling it and work with TC's internal then. Thanks.

Re: Upacking 7z file - status in background window does not change
OK, i completely uninstalled Total7zip. Now what's happening?
The number of files is increasing from "1/1403" to "1403/1403" but the size remains steady at "0/196.6 MB" from the beginning till the end of the process.

Re: Upacking 7z file - status in background window does not change
The size isn't always available (e.g. for solid archives and other archive types), the update is only shown when it is.
