FTP directory synchronisation bug

Greetings.
Comparison tool did not find all different files.

Files biosext.h are different but synchronisation thinks that they are same. Differences are correctly visualised only after executing content comparison ("Porovnání obsahu") in synchronisation pane ("Synchronizace složek").

Local machine is windos 7 PC. FTP server is linux with vsftp. I have also tried newest version 9.21a and behavior is same.

Well. I have found out that on discussion forum that it is a feature. Only file size is compared when connected to FTP server. Then I noticed that "by content" check box is grayed.

Do you plan to include compare by content in some future version? IMHO it is a very important feature.

Christian has already explained why he doesn't want to implement this.
It would require a full download of the files to compare.

I have read that answer. But for example how to check for changes between my tested local copy and source codes on FTP server?
FTP server is connected by 1Gbit network. Bandwidth is not an issue.

Choice to "compare by content" can be disabled by default if he is so concerned that users would complain about large network traffic. (Now I create same network traffic. I download everything as temporar copy and compare it to local version)

Or could it be added by some addon?

TC can compare by content via FTP if the server supports one of the following checksum commands:
XCRC, XSHA1, MD5, HASH

For example, ProFTPd needs mod_digest to support these functions:
