Does Total Commander have a built-in internal text editor that I can use when I press F4? Or is there an addon that provides one?
When I press F4, I don't want to launch an external text editor (like Notepad++), I want to stay inside Total Commander and edit my file. Please let me know if there's a good solution, I have searched, and haven't found one so far

Re: Internal text editor (Editor for F4)
Hi and welcome.
There is no build-in text editor, as there are many very good external text editor (like Notepad++ and Notepad2).
I use older version of Notepad2 (freeware, portable, small, one exe plus ini)
You can search totalcmd.net for editor add-ons, that than act somehow like internal editors.
But they are all out-of-date, I guess.
Google for "Editor F4 site:ghisler.ch" to find more ideas.
