Port transfer does not set Hidden attribute on folders

Post by *Hacker »

Hi all,
TC 9.22a x64
Win10 x64 USB cable client
Win7 x64 USB cable server

Transfer a hidden folder using the USB transfer cable from Server to Client.
The folder is not set as hidden on the Client side. (Hidden files are set as hidden correctly, though.)

Can anyone reproduce?

TIA
Roman

I can confirm that attributes a, h, r and s for folders are not copied using my Belkin Easy Transfer Cable USB-cable ( https://www.ghisler.com/cables/ cable no. 3)

It does not matter whether I copy from client side to server side or the opposite.
It does not matter whether the Win 7 or the Win 10 side is the server.

All combinations of file attributes are transferred though.

It is not a Win 7 -> Win 10 thing - I can reproduce it between these OS'es
Win 7 <-> Win 10
Win 7 <-> Win 8.1
Win 7 <-> Win 7
Win 7 <-> Win XP
Win 8.1 <-> Win 10

All OS'es tested with 64bit TC 9.22a and Win 7 <-> Win 10 connection also tested with 32bit TC 9.22a
All 16 combinations of a, h, r and s attributes for folders are tested.
