Shortcut Ctrl+Q no longer works

Post by *LTN »

Hi. I'm using TC 9.22a 64 bit, Win10. Suddenly my shortcut Ctrl+Q (Quick view panel) does no longer work. It simply does not react when I press the shortcut. I can get it to work through the menu (View -> Quick view panel), but I would like to use the Ctrl+Q. I'm not sure if another program has taken over the shortcut, but nothing happens when I press Ctrl+Q and I cannot figure out how to see which program that "owns" the shortcut. I have tried to reinstall TC, but no luck. I hope somebody can guide me so that I can get back the shortcut.
Lars

Often Graphic card application (or other programs) have shortcuts set the user is not aware of.

Great. Your link send me to the program HotKeysList (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/hot_keys_list.html) and I could see that the shortcut was taken by another program (unfortunately not which one). I looked hereafter for newly installed programmes and found the "sinner" and disabled Ctrl+Q. Now it works again i TC :-)
Thanx Stefan 2

Which program was the culprit? This might help other people with a similar issue.

The Sinner was "Miralix". It is a software program that handles messaging and phone correspondance in my company.
