current state of "batch maker Plugins"?

To create batch-files with the resulting list of TC ("search" and so on) I know 2 ways:

TC Bat builder and launcher (current: 2016)

(retired for years??)

Makebat (Version 2003)

What's the current state of this functionality?
Are there younger, current tools?

The actual version of Makebat is from TCs plugins web-site:
2015-08-13 Version 1.5 released

so I see -

at totalcmd.net there is the current download package (1.5) but with wrong description (version: 1.3, date: 2003) at the info-text
