Android 10 introduced scoped storage which basically means any file manager app is useless.
Will TC for Android be rewritten to support this feature?
I use TC a lot and I am really worried about that.
What are your TC plans for Android 10+?

This isn't true. You can access scoped storage like external sd cards via virtual folders. Total Commander 3.0 beta already supports it. However, scoped storage is still optional on Android 10. It will be enforced only on Android 11.Android 10 introduced scoped storage which basically means any file manager app is useless.

But my phone does not have external sd card. Will I still be able to manage files on my /storage/emulated/0 or will I have to be using android file picker (SAF) for each file I want to edit via TC?

Yes, it will work with internal data, but not /storage/emulated/0. Instead it will appear as ///_Primary or similar virtual folder.
You don't need to use file picker for every file, just folder picker for the base folder.

So there is already support for Scoped Storage in TC beta? I didn't find anything regarding it in change log.

Yes, when you click on "Custom location" it already uses scoped storage. The current final version 2.91 doesn't allow to pick the internal storage this way, but the beta version does.
