ghisler(Author) wrote: 2019-04-15, 13:51 UTC In principle, yes. But colors in controls can not be changed, they are part of the current theme.
you must not use System Theme Color locate at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors
as i say there are 2 API Function

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/api/winuser/nf-winuser-getsyscolor
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/api/winuser/nf-winuser-setsyscolors

it work for all Apps but only as long as User is login. after re-login OS load default so Registry is not change !
ghisler(Author) wrote: 2019-04-15, 13:51 UTC The only alternative would be 100% owner-drawn control like the Windows apps use.
i agree ... lot of work

when using Ownerdraw you still can react on visual Style / Effekt and paint what you want.

Unfortunately it will only work on Windows 10 because only here Microsoft added the necessary functions.

I'll be glad for the dark TC GUI, I used dark GUI in Windows10 so I will have a unified style.

I'm also looking forward to the Dark Mode because I use Dark Mode for Windows 10 1903 already. TC in Dark Mode would be very nice. :)

Yes it is - I have been using it in dark mode for the last few weeks to find remaining errors, and it works well so far.

I cannot say yet. I'm currently still fixing bugs reported here in the forum. Each bug report causes another delay between a few hours or a few days..

Hi Christian, I'm trying to adapt the dark-theme (win10.1903) on my own Delphi/Lazarus win32 software, but with no success. I'm not able to translate the example from Github (ysc3839/win32-darkmode) to Pascal (link on previous page of this forum-topic). Can you provide me with a simple Delphi/Lazarus example? Thanks!
And of course I'm thrilled to test TC 9.5 beta :)
