TC 9.50b1 - Recently closed tabs - "Status" not retained

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

TC 9.50b1 - Recently closed tabs - "Status" not retained

Post by *tuska »

16.10.19 Release Total Commander 9.50 beta 1
Added: Right click on directory tab -> "Recently closed tabs":
Hold down Shift to open restored tab in background (do not activate it) (32/64)
When I close a Tab, "Locked, but directory changes allowed" and then
restore with a right click on Tab and "Recently closed tabs",
the "Status": 'Locked, but directory changes allowed' is not restored.

This behavior also applies to "Locked" tabs - they are no longer locked after recovery.

Tested with TC_clean_x86.ini and TC_clean_x64.ini.

Please check.
Thank you!

Tabs need to be unlocked to be deleted, so when you restore them, they are still unlocked.

Mmh, TC's hint window is showing me this in both cases:

Code: Select all

This tab is locked! Close anyway?
But if that's supposed to be your hint that there won't be any more program changes here,
it should be fine with me, too.
