[Solved] Some newbie questions

Post by *NotNull »

1. When adding a program to the buttonbar, how can I add selected files as a parameter? Something like %$selection_active% (or _source. _left, ...)

2. What is the keyboard combination to go one directory level up? (*) Like File Explorer's Alt-Up or cd..
I even could not find a matching cm_ verb.

(*) UP; not BACK.

Ah, that explains a lot ..context sensitive help .... I simply read the CHM file (and thought a lot was left out for such a complex piece of software). Good to know that is how it's organized.
Thanks!
2. Backspace

Overlooked that one. Thanks! From now on, Alt-UP brings me one folderlevel up.

Backspace (delete backwards) is the key to go UP to the parent directory - you can also use Ctrl+PgUp.

To got to previous visited directory use Alt+LeftArrow
License #524 (1994)
Danish Total Commander Translator
TC 11.03 32+64bit on Win XP 32bit & Win 7, 8.1 & 10 (22H2) 64bit, 'Everything' 1.5.0.1371a
TC 3.50b4 on Android 6 & 13
Try: TC Extended Menus | TC Languagebar | TC Dark Help | PHSM-Calendar

In the meantime I re-read the help file and indeed both were mentioned there (too). Didn't expexpect that :o
Tested and works.
Thanks all !
(but I'll stick with Alt-Up for now :-))
