Lost position after copying files

Hi,

Left panel i have filtered PNG and JPG files, chose 2 images and copy to right panel results in losing my position in left panel.

See linked GIF, really anoying :(

Ok, the gif is not moving there, but the idea is pretty clear i think :)

I don't understand. If you COPY some files, the cursor stay on the same file before and after the copying.

If you MOVE some files an the cursor was on one of the moved files, then the cursor will be moved to the next file that was not moved - it obviously cannot be on a file that is no longer present.

Look, i use F5 for copy left-right and the left panel position is lost, it jumps, you can see on the vertical scrollbar in the middle.

This happens in Thumbnail view when there are more files in the directory than can be shown at the same time. After copying files, TC scrolls the row from which the files were copied to be the top-most row. My guess is that such behavior has been reported in the past, and Ghisler probably said something about it, but I'm not sure, and I'm also not sure why it is like this (but I guess there's a reason).

I can see it now - whether it happens seems to be dependent on how far down in the panel the cursor is. It doesn't happen if it is from the two first rows that I copy. Besides from that it is very unpredictable whether when it happens or not.
