Have any setting for delay when mouse pointer goes above files and folders ?

Post by *Aug »

When mouse pointer goes above of any file or folder the same is selected, but is very fast the delay to select any file or folder.
Have any setting to configure an delay of 250 ms when the mouse pointer goes above of files or folders ?
Have times that wrong files are selected because of it and when alternating an program window to Total Commander is very fast the focus goes to any files losing thus the previous selected file.
Thanks for reply.

Hello Aug,
You mean with the setting Configuration - Options - Open files and directories with a single click turned on? Because otherwise the selection does not follow the mouse cursor.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Is very good open file using an single click.
Not having an delay is much hard to manage folders thus how is easy using File Explorer.
Not having that option to delay when moving mouse pointer Is problem because almost all time when alternating to another program the focus mess any selected file.

Aug,
As a workaround, you can hold Ctrl while moving the mouse, then focus will not change.
