Hmm I think Lomaster means the FTP connect window. There is no functionalitiy for sorting differently AFAIK.

¤ Because it's the most logical and simple sorting order; it's convenient for the most users, including myself. To get an(other) sorting(s) needs to add functionalities in the program.

it has nothing to do with sorting of FTP but sorting of internal commands in totalcmd.inc

As workaround:
You could set a number as first letter in the ftp-connection name. So you could sort them as desired. If you use a count of 5 you can easily insert a new ftp connection by using an unused number.

I think not only the sorting should be renoved, but i personally would like a tree view instead of a simple list. Something like in the ultra menu editor

1. You can separate the remote dirs e.g. at mozila org or sourceforge.net
2. You can separate for themes e.g. softwareupdates; sharewareproggies etc.
