Hi @ts4242
I'm too getting a RunTime terror message 7, Out of memory.
I've tried uninstalling and installing from the setup file as you suggested, but no improvement.
It is definitely something screwed up with visual runtime files.
Which version is UTC actually using? Can I solve the issue with copying needed dll's into UTC folder? If so, what files should be copied?
Thx
My installation is also not successful.
The error message is "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
I cannot find MsComCtl.ocx on my computer.

I'm running Windows 10.
Download the setup, it is include the required file and auto register it.

Hello,
there are new commands in Total Commander 9.5x in wincmd.ini, for example "HistoryThinning" or "HistoryThinningDelta" and many more.
Will there soon be a new version of Ultra TC Editor or a new version of the German.cedf file that supports this?

Please post your comments and/or suggestions for any program in the package in this thread
TC 9.51 is released, which is the latest Chinese version of Ultra TC Editors, including the latest 6.42final version of the help file and the newly added data in the TC editor.
I just installed Ultra TC Editors on two computers.
On one all work good.
On the other - company notebook with windows 1803 and TC 9.20 64bit I cant use ultra TC Editor because of this error 7 - out of memory.
Reinstalltion does not solve the problem.
Anybody has an suggestion on that error?

I've reported the same error several months ago. I'm on Windows 7 x64.
So far I haven't found solution to this.
Author's suggestion to install it from .exe didn't work either.
I really miss those editors.
I cant get any of this to work I keep getting MsComCtl.ocx or one of ots dependencies is missing. I have tried a lot of stuff from the internet like rinstall Visual Basic 6.6, I have downloaded the file directly but so far nothing works. Any Suggestions.

It was as simple as registering mscomctl.ocx from syswow64 directory with regsvr32.
From cmd just navigate to Windows\syswow64 folder and type
regsvr32 mscomctl.ocx
After successful registration Ultra editors works fine.
Is someone in contact with the author of UTC, @ts4242?
He is very active member, but his last post on the forum is almost a year old.
I wonder why he is gone?

regsvr32 mscomctl.ocx
I had the same "out of memory" issue. Here is what solved it for me:
1. Download Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Common Controls. You will get the executable VisualBasic6-KB896559-v1-ENU.exe.
Installing this straight away did not help me. So I had to extract the files and manually copy to SysWOW64.
2. Extract the ocx and dlls to a separate folder with this command line (extracts to C:\temp\vb\):
TC 10 has many new features, such as wincmd.ini entry data in the Configuration Editor, variable list data in the Button Bar Editor, etc. There are many added items, and we look forward to updating the Ultra TC Editors program.
In addition, it is recommended that in the Button Bar Editor module, the variable entries are updated externally in the form of similar Configuration Editor data, so that there is no need to update the variable list by modifying the main program again.
