Comments View doesn't work in search result.

If I feed a search result to listbox, then the Comments View (Ctrl+Shift+F2) doesn't work for the listed files. On the other hand a Custom Columns View with a tc.comment column works OK.

This also applies to TC 6.56

Confirmed, but I think this is not a bug. Maybe reason that TC really use only 1 column to display full path. The same in the Full view. Solution - to use internal tc content plugin - it works.

Maybe you are right - it is just not consistant, because for example Thumbnail View works in a Search Result - so why not Comments View?

Is there a plugin that allows searching through descript.ion
After a search has been fed to listbox- the regular comments view (CTRL+SHIFT+F2) doesn't work.
When I create a custom columns view "Comments", it works in the Search results field.

Could this limitation be reconsidered at least regarding the comments? I often need to see the comments for all the files in the search results, and creating special custom columns view in each TC instance which uses different settings file is very inconvenient. Also, in the custom columns view, in search results TC's default "Name" field changes the view from full file paths with name to names without paths, which changes the context of displayed information.

It's not quite true: user can get more space either for path with filename or for the comment by moving tab header (column) separator/splitter which is between "Ext" and "Size" tab headers, at least this works in the Comments view also in the search results (although the comments currently not shown there after the Ext column):
