Total Commander -Isseu with settings

Hi Team ,

> This is Regarding total commander , Kindly suggest for below :

> We have downloaded and test the latest version released for total commander i. 9.51 and want to clarify few things if could suggest on it.


> * We have packaged the application and tested it and post installation 2 folders are getting created in program files and moved the .BAR files to below locations :

> Moved these files from here:
> c:\Program Files\Total commander\totalcmd\9.51\DEFAULT.BAR
> c:\Program Files\Total commander\totalcmd\9.51\NO.BAR c:\Program
> Files\Total commander\totalcmd\9.51\VERTICAL.BAR

> to here:
> c:\Program Files\Total commander\ 9.51\DEFAULT.BAR c:\Program
> Files\Total commander\ 9.51\NO.BAR c:\Program Files\Total commander\
> 9.51\VERTICAL.BAR

> ..and changed the path in the app to point at the new location.


> * By doing so the application is working fine but we have discovered another issue, probably resulting from moving the .BAR files to another location.The new location for the .BAR files has not been updated in the Configuration setting so when the options are modified, the result is not read back in to the application.

> Having changed these, it worked fine.

> Could you please suggest on this , Should all the files kept in only in folder will resolve this ? Or is there any thing we could do so that the default bar file could be read back when options are modified

Total Commander copies the bar files to the user profile if it cannot write to them at the given location. Please check whether there are bar files under
c:\users\<username>\appdata\roaming\ghisler
