I can no longer open certain jpg photos in TC

The only possible problem I can see here are national chars in pathname on left side (very unlikely in 2021).
So copy file from left to right (or another path with only latin chars) and try open again.

How much free space is there on your system drive? Do you get the same error when you open the exact same files on both sides? In your video you opened different files from the two panels.

Thanks again to everyone for the information.

I tried to open on the other side of the TC but the same thing doesn't work. Even if I change the date, nothing changes.
However, I discovered another very important issue:
From that date onwards, it doesn’t just open up photos I took with my cell phone (HUAWEI P smart Z) and sent to my email and downloaded to my computer.
But interestingly, it doesn’t just open them from TC (double click). All other programs open them and also in TC it opens if I click look.
Really unusual.

And it is enough space on disk:
BOOT: 82 GB used - 154 GB not used
DATA: 78 GB used - 822 GB not used
RECOVER: 13 GB used - 17 GB not used

Sounds like the file association was damaged somehow. Try reassigning it via right click context menu - open with - other app - always open with this app.

Also, you can try to run PhotoViewer and open file directly by such a button

Copy code and paste on buttonbar - right click on empty space of buttonbar, "Paste".

Igor, I see in your video that the path on the left contain two times the slovenian character "Č". Please try renaming/changing the Č to C (ZACASNI and ZVOCNIKI), just to check if this is the problem. This shouldn't happen but maybe...
