POP3 Plugin: '$_' not a valid integer value ???

Post by *havanna »

I got that answer when trying to connect to a certain account (on a local Jana mail Server).
I could track it down to a single mail file that of course did not contain the "$" character.

What could be the problem? The mail could be opened with pegasus and OE/Express...

Hm strange - Which version are you using (TC and the plugin) and how does your connection string look like (please clear the pwd before posting it here)?
Browse the web with the HTTP SmartBrowserPlugin
Check your mails with the POP3/SMTP EmailPlugin!

I'm using TC 5.51 and Pop3 plugin 1.2.0.0 (that's what the dll says).
The connection string is Vision Toni=vision:EncodedPwd(***)@192.168.0.211

To be noted: as soon as I had removed the mail in Question from the Server everything worked.

"Mail" - "mail body" = "RFC822 headers", I guess... ;)[/face]

2Blackdog: This is exactly what I meant :-)
Btw. If you have checked out version 1.2 then you will find out that I have not yet added your wish (do you remeber in the old eforum.de - the paranoid mode) because there is a little problem: TC does not tell the plugin on which side/panel a folder was opened/closed by the user. One example: On the right side you have one open mailbox. If you open another mailbox on the left side and then you try to download a mail from the right side then you will be asked again for the password for the right side... :-(

Yep, I know.

Well, I guess it's enough paranoid behavior to fit this mode... :)[/face]
