MULTIRENAME direct Start with =saved_definition

Post by *Horst.Epp »

Please add a syntax like the one for OPENATTRIBUTES
MULTIRENAME =name_of_saved_definition
to start a rename without the need to press the Start button.

I would like also an option like

Code: Select all

MULTIRENAME ==name_of_saved_definition
to rename and close if no conflict....
I often think that start+close should be done in one click !

Oh yes, I had think that was meant that way.

But you are right:
MULTIRENAME = : open Gui and execute, leave open to see result/errors (no big advantage other than one click to start saved)
MULTIRENAME == : just execute in background with out an GUI open (that's the one I had in mind, just perform the saved template)

Thanks for clarifying
