I can't open a self-extracting EXE in Total Commander 10 32 bit with either the keystroke, Ctrl+PgDn, or cm_GoToDir starting with a blank wincmd.ini. I can open a .zip.
I can open the same self-extracting EXE in Total Commander 10 64 bit with either the keystroke or cm_GoToDir.
Any suggestions?

It's not clear from your post if you can't open any SFX or just a specific one. In case of the latter one, please also tell which SFX it's about.

Re: Can't Open Self-extracting EXE with Ctrl+PgDn TC 10 32 bit
There is a known problem with newer 64-bit RAR self-extractors, which are so huge that Total Commander gives up looking for the compressed data...

True, but the issue was/is independent from the TC version and bitness. However, jinsight claims it's not possible to open an SFX in TC 32-bit while it works in TC 64-bit. So I'm not sure if it's the same issue.

Re: Can't Open Self-extracting EXE with Ctrl+PgDn TC 10 32 bit
After the question by Dalai, I researched further.
I now believe that TC 64 bit can open 64 bit and 32 bit SFX and some executable files while TC 32 bit can only open 32 bit SFX and some executable files.
Regarding SFX files in particular, I tested with WinRar 32 and 64 bit SFX files at https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm.
Thanks for your attention.

Re: Can't Open Self-extracting EXE with Ctrl+PgDn TC 10 32 bit
I cannot open winrar-x64-611.exe here, neither with Total Commander 32-bit nor 64-bit, because of the big SFX module. I will try to find a solution.

Re: Can't Open Self-extracting EXE with Ctrl+PgDn TC 10 32 bit
For testing I have removed the entry for the installed WinRAR from the TC config.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2022-03-10, 15:42 UTC I cannot open winrar-x64-611.exe here, neither with Total Commander 32-bit nor 64-bit, because of the big SFX module. I will try to find a solution.
I have no problem to open winrar-x64-611.exe with Ctrl-PgDn in TC x86 and x64.
The unrar modules in TC are
