Would you like to be able to access "Desktop" or "My Files"

Yes, I believe this would be a good idea!

Unsure, I would prefer a different approach (see message)

Desktop / My Files in Drive Dropdown

Post by *XelaRellum »

The only reason why I still use Explorer sometimes is when I just need a single file in My Files or on my desktop. So to have a shortcut for this in the drive dropdown would be great!

What fo you mean by "My files"?

You can easily get to desktop typing: \\ in TC or using a command from menu "Commands\Open desktop folder" or by creating eg. a button with command: "cm_OpenDesktop"

I voted "no, forget about it", not because the suggested feature is useless from my point of view,
but because - as nevidimka pointed out correctly - the feature does exist already.
Although, I must admit, it cannot be accessed from the drive dropdown list, as suggested,
yet after all neither "Desktop" nor "My Documents" are drives.

Kind regards,
Karl

I put links to desktop and My documents in the button bar, but they would be more natural in the drive dropdown list

Since my desktop is empty like the inside of Bush' his head I don't need any shortcut to it, so I vote no. (but I can imagine ppl would like it)
