[TC 10.50b6] Alt+Shift+F3 vs Ctrl+Shift+Q (aka 2941)

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[TC 10.50b6] Alt+Shift+F3 vs Ctrl+Shift+Q (aka 2941)

Post by *MaxX »

On any file:
Alt+Shift+F3 -> lister w/o plugins, foreground window opens
Ctrl+Shift+Q -> lister w/o plugins, background window opens
Is that bug or feature?
Empty ini also works the same.

Evenmore:
x32 version can't open fullscreen on Ctrl+Shift+Q, it uses only left half of screen.
x64 opens fullscreen on Ctrl+Shift+Q.
Here's defenitely bug. All you need is Wincmd.ini with only

Code: Select all

[Lister]
Maximized=1

Ok. First part seems to be OK.
What's with the second?

Ctrl+Shift+Q is standalone quick view. It is mainly meant for people with two or more screens or a very wide screen to show quick view separately from the main window.

It allows to save its size and position separately from normal F3, including maximized state. So press Ctrl+Shift+Q, resize the window to your liking, and choose "Save position".

Do you mean, there's no problem in diffrent window position (x32 vs x64) in default settings?

The default settings are the ones you get when you run the program with a clean ini file.
Lister behaves the same way then. Also when you SAVE maximized position through user interface, not manually edit settings.
But there is some inconsistency though.
