Ticket: phpBB Native Search returns 1 match and one page of results

In the meantime use advanced search and search only within Message text or only within Topic titles.

The maintenance release 3.3.8 is officially released.

The fixes include, among others, an issue with the native search backend only returning 1 match and 1 page as result, and resolves issues with emojis in the subject line of emails and email based notifications.

I will wait a few days with the installation, sometimes these updates introduce new bugs which are only found in the wild after a while.

I have updated phpbb to 3.3.8 now. The search still seems to work although their fix is a bit different from the one suggested above. Please let me know if there are problems with the search.
