Did you prefixed the url with the plugin-name?
e.g.:
\\\HTTP\http://www.mp3tag.de
works but
http://www.mp3tag.de
will not.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
Oh... cool, it works now (though http:// shouldn't be required IMHO).
And it still doesn't work when show current dir is off, so, the question still remains, is there a way to make that "URL:" dialog show up apart from cliclking onto the Connect item?
TIA

Try to press Shift with different fingers. Maybe also with foot or nose...Hacker wrote:Am I doing something wrong?

Actually you scaring me, Jedi...
Why don't you just use KBD shortcut for "cm_visCurDir" (and "cm_editpath" in case you disable it too)? Or you can use menu with this commands... What's the problem?
Well, if Fabio will finally add CL support, it solves it whatever it was. You did not disabled CL, I hope...

I just don't feel like activating Show current dir and then deactivating it just because I'd like to change the path. That has to be solved easily inside the plugin, be it by adding a ".Change URL" item to every site or something.

Actually why? This is very functional feature, since Christian add "cm_vis*" commands I dynamically change Commander interface every time I need or do not need it's particular element(s).
H> That has to be solved easily inside the plugin
Jedi, this is plugin, not separate program. This means it should be integrated in Commander po samie pomidori (as deep as possible) and first of all use the existing functionality. And add new only in case existing is not enough. That's why I damn want cm_GotoPrevious(Next)Dir support.[/face]

Because it would be annoying. I am used to my interface and find it configured properly to suit my needs. I don't need show current dir because it's to the left of the command line already. To me it's wasted space and looks ugly. Therefore I have it turned off and don't really want to turn it on just for an occasion that could be circumvented by IMHO simple means.

(Quoting Christian's response to, "Could it be implemented that the File - Split size would be configurable, eg one could type in the desired value?")
But it is there!
By clicking on Connect in the plugin's root the dialog appears. I just would like a way to open the dialog being on whatever page.
TIA
