[root] can copy folder but not compress it

Device is root with Magisk and working fine.

1.If you copy a folder from /storage/emulated/0/Android/* to another location like Documents, it copies successfully all its contents (several files, tested). Also a toast message says "Total Commander was granted Superuser rights"
2.If you click the Compress icon, it creates a zip file with the selected folder inside but such folder is empty, like "data.zip/org.myapp.com". No toast message appears.

Unfortunately Android apps cannot access root folders, not even when they support root. Instead, they can only launch a hidden shell (sh) which can then run shell commands a root. Therefore the packer (which is running in the app itself) cannot access root folders, sorry.
